Ceramic and porcelain tiles are one of the most popular floor types in Dublin (and across Ireland too). It’s non-porous and easy to clean with a flat mop system. After time, and especially when using detergents, the tile and grout can dull and attract unsightly dirt and grime. Our tile cleaning service restores your ceramic tile's shine and cleans deep down into the grout removing old detergents, grime, and grease.

We use a special contra-rotating agitation machine that gently scrubs the tiled surface and gets deep into the grout lines where it lifts bonded contaminants off the floor. The mechanical agitation is combined with specially formulated cleaning products known as “Micro-Splitters”. Micro-Splitters are free rinsing and do not cling like detergents do. We will then rinse extract the loosened soiling and grime before applying a sealant which prevents stains and keeps your tiles and grout looking cleaner for longer.

Regular cleaning with a flat mop system keeps your tile surface looking clean, but specialist equipment is needed when it comes to cleaning grout and raised features. The porous grout attracts grime, dirt, debris, fats, and other contaminants that bond and get caught beneath the surface. In bathrooms, it gives mould a hold which can spread and degrade the tile. Specialist machinery and cleaning products are required to get in to the pores and strip out any dirt and contaminants.

Grout lines are a thin plaster or concrete render which joins or fills cracks and crevices between ceramic tiles. Grout can be one of the more difficult areas to clean and it’s often overlooked. Improper grout care, especially in kitchens and bathrooms, can lead to unsightly stains and eventually long-term damage. We recommend that grout be maintained and cleaned every year in a home environment and every three months in high-traffic commercial environments.
